Enrollment Process

We're excited that you're considering enrolling your child at IMS! We admit children from the age of 1 year to school age.

Please read below for the steps regarding the enrollment process.

The deadline for applying for the main enrollment process is 01 March.

1. Norwegian Residents Apply through Baerum Kommune

All preschool applications in Bærum municipality are done through their application portal on Bærum kommune's website below. If you are registered as a resident in Norway on the Norwegian Folkeregister, visit the website below:

https://www.baerum.kommune.no/tjenester/barnehage/

2. Non-Residents Apply through Attached Form

If you are not registered as a resident in Norway on the Norwegian Folkeregister, complete the application form and send it by email to barnehage@baerum.kommune.no

3. Finalize Placement

Admissions are made in close collaboration with the preschool and Baerum kommune. When the application has been processed, confirmation will be sent to your email from the International Montessori Preschool administration.
